The Strömbacka knife is a forged knife in hardened steel and made from an old model called “kärringkniv”, hence the hook on the handle to be able to attach it to the kitchen apron. The knife is very sharp because of its hardened steel. The knife requires love and care. It must be dried after use as it is not made of stainless steel. But the feeling and knowledge that it is a hand forge makes it fantastic to work with.
