P\u00e5 trods af et af dets navne har jordskokker ikke noget med hverken Jerusalem eller jordskokken at g\u00f8re. Der er ingen videnskabelig forklaring p\u00e5 navnet, undtagen et par g\u00e6t. Et g\u00e6t er, at indvandrede italienske landm\u00e6nd, der bor i USA, begyndte at kalde det \"girasole\", som blev udtalt i lignende retninger som Jerusalem. Og s\u00e5 ville engelsktalende have fordrejet ordet \"girasole\" (der betyder \"solsikkeartiskok\") for jordskokker, da det lignede en solsikke. Hvem ved ... Her i Norden kalder vi det i det Jordskok, som f\u00f8les passende.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
